Lexi visits Stefan on his Birthday as a surprise, she is Stefan's oldest vampire friend.Elena tries to stay away from Stefan due to what happened at the Halloween event,the death of Vicki,Matt mourning,her brother almost dying and her injury. Meanwhile,Jeremy behaves exceptionally different after the alleged disappearance of Vicki as he is focused on school which is all due to Damon's mind control that changed his memories and behavior.Caroline tries to get the necklace back from Bonnie who is studying her past with hr grandmother.Damon starts to gain the trust of the sheriff and work his way into the community.
