INTRODUCTION to Damon Salvatore
Damon Salvatore played by actor Ian Somerhalder,is the brother of The Vampire Diaries Lead good guy Stefan.He started hating his brother when he spoke to his father about having remorse and understanding towards vampires.It was than that their father realized that Katherine was a vampire.It was after the capturing and supposed death of katherine and themselves being killed and turned into vampires that Damon grew to hate his brother which was casted over a century of have and revenge.Now that we understand the History behind Damon Salvatore,lets talk about his development in current times when he returns to mystic falls to cause an uprise of surprises.
In the beginning of season 1, His personality is the complete opposite of his brother Stefan Salvatore, He was depicted as being exceptionally arrogant and selfish as well as a narcissist. It was revealed to us that he posses some sort of sociopathic tendencies,Displays a sense of absolute charm and extreme Danger and displayed no regret or remorse for any of his killings. He is shown to love torturing people,especially Stefan and ofcourse,He is really powerful and gets anything in his sight and this was rather significant because we think that the Vampire Diaries tried to depict the transformation of him into katherine.
